Nattawut Wongpraparut

Nattawut Wongpraparut is an associate professor of medicine and director of cardiac catheterization laboratory at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and a past vice-president of Cardiovascular Intervention Association of Thailand (CIAT). He received his medical degree in 1996 from Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. His postgraduate training includes an internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United states of America. He then pursued further training in Coronary and Endovascular Interventions fellowship at University of Louisville and Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He is diplomate American Board in medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, vascular medicine and endovascular medicine. He is a fellow of several international medical societies, including the American College of Cardiology (FACC), European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) as well as member of local societies. He has authored more than 100 articles in abstracts and peer-review journals. He is a course director for ASEAN ROVUS course, SEA physician OCT image interpretation course and Mahidol TAVI. He is also operator for live cases transmission to CIAT, MYLIVE, Singapore LIVE, CSI-AP, APSC, AICT-AsiaPCR. He is a reviewer for several journals such as Asian Heart Journal, AsiaIntervention, Blood Pressure, Chulalongkorn Medical Journal, EuroIntervention, Hereditas, Injury, International Journal of Cardiology, International Journal of Hypertension, Journal of Endovascular therapy, Journal of the Medical Association of Thailand, and Journal of Thoracic disease and etc. He is also an abstract grader in AsiaPCR, the official EuroPCR submissions grader and Asian renal denervation consortium (ARDeC) member. Dr.Wongpraparut is an expert in coronary physiology and imaging, complex coronary and peripheral interventions, renal nerve denervation and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
