Lisa Foster

Lisa Foster is a Quality Improvement Consultant II for the Quality Improvement Department at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital Plano. Lisa is the Registry Site Manager for the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR)CathPCI Registry®. Within this role she has oversight for CathPCI Registry® abstraction for BSW The Heart Hospital’s Plano, McKinney, Denton as well as the management agreements with BSW Centennial & Frisco. BSW The Heart Hospital Plano completes over 1700 PCI’s per year which are abstracted real-time into the registry allowing for real time process improvement initiatives.
Lisa came to Texas in 2013 as BSW The Heart Hospital Plano’s Manager of Invasive cardiology. In 2016, Lisa transitioned to Quality Improvement where she took on the RSM role CathPCI Registry®, which allowed her to stay close to her love of Cath Lab, while having the opportunity to help lead quality improvement initiatives as well as striving for excellence within the registry outcomes. Lisa has presented nationally at NCDR Quality Summit’s, as well as authored & co-author several NCDR posters.
Prior to coming to Texas and THHBP Lisa had over 20 years’ experience first in Cath Lab as a staff tech, then moving to Contracting within Materials Management for Cardiology, which paved the path of returning back to Cath Lab as Manager, & lastly as Surgical Services Business Manager before her move to Texas. Lisa has her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University, Davenport IA.
